Paskett family visit
Nothing better than a visit from a cousin. Porter was too cute. He loved the boys and they had a great time together.
We rented a surry and took a ride on the lakefront. FYI it is hard work to peadal 10 people around. Dallen and Gregg would say it is really hard, especially when the women don't help, come on, we were busy talking.

We went to a Brewers game, we had a great time.

Chicago with Becca
Becca came for a visit (thanks Dix) so we went to Chicago. The kids all wanted to sleep by her, so one night all 4 of them slept on the air mattress. She is such a sport, we miss her :-) She said that it was just like Christmas, all night long the kids would wake up and ask her if it was time to get up yet...she would fall asleep and another would wake up...Well having her was as good as Christmas.We love you Becca!
We rode up the fastest elevator in North America (90ish floors in 40ish seconds if I remember correctly) to the top of the John Hancock building for a sky tour of Chicago, it was really cool.

I'm telling you, they adore her. And isn't her pink skirt cute? We had a blast going to some of my favorite thrift stores here and we scored some sweet deals. The vintage skirt was only $2.39!
Lastly we did an architecture boat tour. Where is Taylie? We threw her off of the boat because she was REALLY grouchy :-) You can see her head in the bottom corner, 2 chairs away from everyone else.
Green Bay
Green Bay is only 2 hours away and we had to go and see it! There is a great little amusement park where all of the rides are only 25 cents. We spent 2 hours and $10 and had a great time.
Just think, in 6 years he will really be driving...

Told the kids to do the Heisman pose and this is what we got. At least Brycen was listening. Apparently sis was to grouchy to listen and Rylan, well he is just Rylan.
Right on the field, it was sooo cool. FYI there is a waiting list for season tickets of 80,000 people! You can actually will your spot on the waiting list to your family! Football is like a religion here, seriously.
We also went to watch the Packers practice, it was really cool. Bet you didn't know that Aaron Rogers is my son did ya?Navuoo Trip
Over Dallen's July break we went with some friends to Nauvoo. We had a great time, the kids loved it and want to go back. We were able to do a session at the temple. It was amazing. We also got to see the pageant which was great.

We stopped at Carthage Jail on the way home. I was worried because it had been a long few days but the boys were great. It was an amazing place to be. This is the window that Joseph fell out of . Going to Nauvoo made me so thankful for all of the people who have sacrificed so much for this gospel. It made me wonder, in a world full of luxury and connivence do I really give ALL that I have like the early saints did? Summer Swimming Lessons
The boys had some awesome swimming lessons this summer, they loved it and I couldn't believe how good they were after only 10 lessons. Here are a few pics.
